Feeling Better
After a couple low key days, our little guy is feeling back to himself. Just in time to celebrate halloween, too. Zayne is going to be a bumble bee this year. It was really nice to have a few extra days just to be home. I did some extra cooking, baking, cleaning, laundry and lots of loving on my son. His last molar finally popped through. This one was a dooser. The other 3 pretty much came through without us even noticing, but this last one took 2 weeks, I swear. Anyway, Zayne is just feeling all around happier, which makes for a happier mommy and daddy too! Off to have some yummy cookies and milk with my hubby.

Washin Dishes
Zayne loves to help me wash dishes. We both get a little more wet than necessary, but the smiles on his face our worth it. I love watching him become more aware of what is going on around him and conscious of what others are doing.
Zayne came down with a chest cold a couple days ago that has steadily gotten worse. We are just taking it easy today. I stayed home from work and we are just going to hang out and hopefully take lots of naps. He didn't sleep the best last night and you can just tell he feels pretty miserable.

~A Fall Getaway~
This past weekend Micah and I got to go away on a romantic trip upnorth - JUST THE TWO OF US!!! This was the first time we have been away from Zayne and although we missed him SO much, it was so refreshing to just be able to relax and focus on each other for a couple of days. We went Up North MI to Boyne City/Petosky area and got to stay at an amazing house of some friends, right in the Boyne Ski Resort.
The first night we got there we found our house and then went to eat at a local restaurant right near the resort. Micah got the "gutbuster burger" and I got a Pastie, something I have been craving for awile now.
The next day we went to eat at a fun, elegant coffee cafe called the Waterstreet Cafe. We ate Pumpkin Oatmeal and Quiche - WOW, it was out of this world. We explored Boyne city area and hiked around a state park near by, just enjoying the fall colors and being all alone.
From there we drove to Petosky and found a coffee shop in town. We sat in the most comfortable chairs, sipping our coffee and talking for close to an hour. We caught a early evening movie and then ate at Applebees, we even shared the chocolate volcano desert. The next day we headed home, but took our time, driving down the east coast and stopping in Traverse City. We browsed a few of the shops and picked up some gifts for everyone back home. We got back early evening on Monday and were welcomed by our happy little guy and a slightly tired Saba and Safta. They all had so much fun together all though the days and even ALL through one of the nights :). It was so nice to have my parents watch our little guy. He LOVES being over at their house and we knew he would have so much fun we would barely be missed - Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Happy B-Day Grampa P.
Last Sunday was Micah's Dad's Birthday. In honor of his day, we went to Tim Hortans to celebrate. We really missed being with him on his special day. Micah's dad is one of the most humble and gentle men I have ever met. He has such an inner strength from the Lord that just spending time with him makes you feel like life is in perspective again. Micah and I have so appreciated his support and love in every aspect of our life. Happy Birthday Dad - a few days late :) We LOVE YOU!!!

More of Fall!
Every year my parents neighbors open up their fully opperating train for a special day in the community. The entire event is free and they even have refreshments! The little train runs all through their property and is perfect for little people like Zayne. They call it their "Make a difference day." It was such a fun fall memory - I hope we can go every year!

Apple Cider Mill
Last weekend my Mom, Brother Nate, Zayne and I headed out to the Apple Cider mill. I am NOT going to confess how many trips that makes for me or the number of donuts - trust me, it is a bit shocking. We had fun again though and it was a special outing with my mom and brother. Zayne loves the donuts and cider too. His favorite thing is to push around the huge red wagons they have. Below are a few more pictures of our time.

22 Weeks
Just to keep track...
Here I am at 22 weeks. I have really popped out the last 2 weeks. I am still feeling really well and this pregnancy is starting to feel more and more like when I was pregnant with Zayne. I have another appointment in two weeks - I will be 6 months along then. They will do another ultrasound because this little guy has fluid on his kidney's just like Zayne did. We really aren't worried about it, especially since we know how well Zayne can fill his diaper - he has NO trouble peeing. I guess it is something that little boys have more commonly in the womb. They will just monitor it and do an ultrasound on the baby after he is born to make sure everything is fine. I guess it is sort of nice because then we get to see our little guy more than once during the pregnancy.
Some Family Pics
We are really enjoying our fall this year. It is one of my favorite times of the year - so much so that I almost don't long for Sunny FL during it (key word "almost"). We have been to the Apple Cider Mill Twice with plans set to go quite a few more times. We have one only a few minutes away from us that has warm Pumpkin and Apple Donuts and Apple Cider that I literally crave ALL week long. We have also enjoyed taking evening stroller rides in the cool weather. We get all bundled up and walk along the river or downtown. Zayne is his Daddy's son and never seems to get cold. He just loves being outside as much as possible.

A Special Present!
Dear Zayne,
"Daddy has something that you like very much, but you're not allowed to touch it. So, Aunt Jeanne though she should get you one for you so you can have one too!
Much Love,
Aunt Jeanne"
This Card and little guitar came in the mail a few weeks ago for Zayne. As you can see it hasn't officially made Zayne give up the temptation of Daddy's guitar, but he sure loves his new toy. Thanks Aunt Jeanne - we love you!
