When my Mom and Brother Nate were here we decided to go to Acquatica - Sea World's water park. We debated taking Kyler with us, but decided he might have more fun with Gramma and Grampa and then we would be free to go on more of the bigger water slides. When I brought it up to the boys they both thought it was a Great idea. Zayne loved the idea of just being with Safta, Na Na, and Mommy and being able to go on all the "biiiggggggggg warer slides" and Kyler seemed to really like the idea of having it be JUST HIM at Gramma and Baba's house. Below are a few pictures of Kyler's special time. I don't think I need to describe much because the pictures do such a good job - Breakfast on the porch, Alligator spotting, a quick stop at the library and puzzels with Gramma, ice cream for lunch at Dunkin Donuts (Kyler picked mint chocolate chip and ate the WHOLE bowl), riding the carosel at the zoo, bike riding, a nap on Gramma and Grampa's bed, play time, snack time on the fire truck, and a stroller ride. Kyler is still talking about his special day and asks to go over to Gramma and Grampa's house quite often. I think Gramma and Grampa enjoyed it a lot too. According to Gramma he was a little "angel" the whole day and I think they all enjoyed the wonderful memories that were build.

Sandbox Fun
One of the boys most favorite thing to do these days is to play in their sandbox. They play outside making "oatmeal," or "cookies," or driving the sand around in their dump trucks. It often gets dumped in the yard, but most of the yard is sand anyways so it doesn't really matter. When Safta was here, the boys LOVED when she went and played in their sandbox with them. One afternoon Zayne and Safta made a "cake" in the red wagon. Zayne was so excited and loved when we sang happy birthday to him in celebration of his "cake."

Spring Break 2012
We have had a very special April. Some it has to do with just life being precious and having two very special little boys who bring so much joy into our lives, BUT mostly it is because we had some very special company the first few weeks of the month. Safta and Uncle Na Na came for a visit. Below is a day by day summary of our week.
Friday - Drove 2 hours to Ocala to pick up Safta and Uncle Na Na. Stopped by Chic Fil A for a quick dinner, made Nate babysit in the playland, then came home and crashed for a early night.
Saturday - Woke up Safta and Uncle Na Na at 6:30 - life starts pretty early on Spring Break at the Plimptons. Went to Publix and the green park, came home for naps, and then went for a bike ride after Micah came home. We managed to make it just in time for a thunderstorm, but we waited it out a bit and then just decided to brave the rain. We had a blast! After a quick taco dinner, we headed over to Joseph's house for desert and to see their new loft beds.
Sunday - We made it to the early service for Church, did our routine Wendy's run, and then headed to the beach! Sunday Night Safta and Na Na Babysit while Micah and I go on a date night.
Monday - Played in the pool in the morning, made sand castle's and went in the orange swing. Monday afternoon we went to the library, had a muffin snack at the cafe and got some fun movies for the week. Micah and Nate went to the movies and saw a guy movie and Safta and I stayed home, got the boys down early and watched a chic flic.
Tuesday - BSF in the morning, while Nate and Safta went shopping. I can't remember the afternoon, but it was fun.
Wednesday - Gymnastics in the morning. Nate and I took the boys and Safta stayed home and worked on sewing projects. She got all of Nate's clothes ready for Luke's wedding, made me bathroom curtains and made the boys a fleece blanket for their bed! Wednesday afternoon we went for a bike ride to Joseph's house to see his cool loft bed with a slide. We came home and Safta and I headed out for a shopping excursion and early birthday gifts, while Micah and Nate watched action movies.
Thursday - Water park day! Kyler stayed Gramma and Grampa and had a very fun day (more pictures to come). Kara, Zayne, Nate and Safta all went to acquatica and swam and played until we couldn't move. At least I couldn't, I think Nate and Zayne could have done the whole day again, twice.
Friday - We ran out everything to have for breakfast so we went to McDonalds. The boys had never been out for breakfast, so they thought the whole experience was spectacular - which it was. We had Gymnastics again - Safta came this time and we got lots of fun pictures. Nate did a triple front flip into the pit and Safta did a pretty great straddle jump. After gymnastics we went to Tropi-shack and got hotdogs and ice cream. Came home for naps and I think we went swimming in the afternoon.
Saturday - Me and the boys headed for a quick walmart run. Nate and Safta cleaned our whole house and got packed to head back to Ocala. Drove two hours back to drop off our Special packages, dreading it the whole way. We had to stop for Pop pops (lolipops) part way through, but the boys did great. We played at the mall for a few minutes before saying a very sad goodbye and wishing we could just start the week all over again!
I know there were things I forgot to write down, but I covered the highlights I think. The biggest thing was just all being together and letting time slow and enjoying every minute of all the memories we made. Happy Spring Break Safta and Uncle Nate - can't wait for next year!!!
