Little Helper

Zayne is such a good big brother. He loves to go up to Kyler and give him kisses or get really close to his face. He touches his face gently and will giggle when he makes little noises. He doesn't like it when he crys loud and will let us know by crying or yelling as well. I am so thankful that this adjustment into having 2 has been so smooth. Kyler just fits into our family like he was meant for us - which I guess he was!
I went back to work today. My mom watched Zayne and I was able to bring Kyler with me. It went really well and I was happy to be back. I am so thankful for such a special, low stress job. Things at the Rudino's are going well. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we have continued to grow. It has definetly been an adventure!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

We didn't get to do a whole lot for Valentines day this year as we had a 3 day old baby. However, we did get to hang out with this special boy all day AND Micah did get me chocolate (the new dark resese peanut butter cups) and a really sweet card that made me cry. My gift to him was a Tim Hortans gift card. I think we ended up spending through the gift card money at Tim Hortans before I could buy it though :)

We are back!!!

Well, we are back. I haven't posted in a few weeks because our computer's motherboard crashed - lovely huh? I have a ton to post about and even more pictures to share. We have had a fun couple weeks. I feel like we are adjusting to have two little guys. Kyler is settling in more and more and I feel more confident and like I have my feet under me. I can take the boys for stroller rides on my own, the grocery store, to visit Micah and my mom and I can make it through the whole day without panicking - yippee. Not to say there are not moments, but overall I think I am adjusting.

We have been enjoying some extra family time while I am on maternity leave. Last weekend we took off and visited my friend Martha. She has twins who are 2 and a sweet little girl who just turned 4 months. You can see pictures of our time on her blog. http://ryanandmartha.blogspot.com/ We had a blast together. We pretty much spent the time holding little babies, watching the boys chase each other around the house, feeding babies, changing diapers (LOTS of diapers), eating amazing food, and just being encouraged by hanging out with other people doing the same thing we are in life right now. Ryan and Martha are super hospitable and relaxed and we had an awesome time!

We have also spent lots of time the last few days hanging out at the park. The weather has been beautiful! and everyday Zayne brings us his shoes and points to the door. He also will bring us a book that has a picture of the playground and points to the picture and then to the door - he does this over and over until we get the hint. Needless to say, we have gone to the park quite a bit lately. Yesterday, my brother Luke came over and took a bunch of pictures of Zayne and Kyler. They turned out AMAZING and I can't wait to get some of them printed and in frames. I will post some soon. Then today, my friend Dianna came over and took some pictures of the boys in their BIG BROTHER, LITTLE BROTHER shirts that she bought them. SO CUTE!!! I can't wait to see them as well.
