Funny little boy things I never want to forget...

Zayne calls the partly cloudy days we have here in MI - "mix up" days.
Kyler won't go to the bathroom (#2) unless ALL his clothes are off and he sits facing the toilet.
Last week we were at Nate's track meet and the lady came on the intercom to announce the start of the meet - Kyler said "Mommy, is that Jesus!"
Zayne loves to plan out our day - "Ok Mommy, I have a plan - first..."
Both the boys say "actually" at the start of most of their sentences, I started realizing that is how I start most of my sentences :)
They love to play rescue with their ropes and baskets and little toys, they LOVE their scooters and are pretty amazing and fast on them. 
Zayne can shimmy up just about any tree and Kyler stands at the bottom and talks his ear off.
Zayne is really into being a parent.  He is pretty sure he wants to have 2 kids - a boy and a girl, but first he has to find a girl to marry.  He wants to move back to FL when he gets big, but says we can visit after 4 days.
Kyler asks almost everyone if they have a baby in their tummy.

Changes

This is a picture taken just a few weeks before we moved to MI.  We have had so many changes in the past few months, sometimes it seems like years have past instead of just a few short months.  May is a fun month for us - we have Birthdays, Mothers Day and an anniversary to celebrate.  We are also getting more and more excited to meet the new little addition to our family.  SHE is due June 5th and we all can't wait!

Spring Memories

Ok, so this is a picture of the boys in FL, but I didn't have any warm weather pictures uploaded and I am tired of snowsuit posts :)  We have really enjoyed welcoming in Spring to MI.  We love playing outside in the morning - the boys riding their matching scooters together and playing in the dirt pile that Daddy made for them.  Zayne has preschool on Monday, Tues, and Thurs afternoons, but we still have lots of time for parks and playdates.  This morning we did hair cuts outside, read books on the Sun porch, and then had a picnic lunch outside.  It was such a peaceful morning.  The boys ran around and collected Dandilions for me, Zayne had a little blue bug land on his arm, and Kyler chased butterflys.  It was such a blissful Mommy morning.  I feel like they are growing up so fast right now.  They are both getting taller and more filled out.  Their cordination and vocabulary is changing from the little boy to the bigger boy.  

Mini Van!

 

 

We bought this blue beauty in late Feb.  It has been a great van so far and we are excited to have room to fit all of us with a little extra for the new person we are adding :).  It is a 2005 Saturn Relay and the boys love that it has a TV/DVD player in it.  Micah has resigned himself to having a minivan and I love being a van mom!  Welcome to our family Blue Mini Van!
