Says Zayne...
Kara: "Hey Zayne, who did you play with at Tate's Playhouse (preschool) today?" "Did you play with Dominic?"
Zayne: "Noooo"
Kara: "Did you play with Evan?"
Zayne: "Nooooo"
Kara: "Did you play with Gracie?"
Zayne: "Oh YAAAAYYY!!!!!"
Kara: "Zayne, What does Mommy say when she gets tired?"
Zayne: "Ohhhh Myyyyyyyyy"
Kara:"Zayne do you need to go Potty?"
Zayne: "Dada's Rise (suprise)???"
Kara: Well, you can't have Dada's suprise until you go potty on the potty chair."
Zayne: "Mama's Rise?"
I am not sure he has really gotten the whole potty training concept down. But at least he knows about the suprise part :).

Hello WInter
Well, yesterday and today we got 8 more inches of snow. I couldn't believe it, I think I am going to go into a depression. I am so ready for spring and it was so hard to get a glimpse of it and then have it snatched away or rather frosted away. The boys are doing great through. They bring so much fun in our life. I was looking at Zayne today and remembering when he was just a baby. We have had so many changes in our life since the boys have been born, sometimes I just look at them and can't believe they are really ours. The time seems to be going by so fast and I get these little snatches of things I don't want to forget - the boys giggling during their bath together, the way Zayne says big gggggggg for "big truck", the way Kyler's eyes sparkle as he walks away with my phone I let him hold for a minute. There are so many pictures and memories that are so precious, but fade so quickly and we don't have time to capture or remember them all.
We really enjoy our schedule right now and the boys are getting some extra time with Daddy. I love my job and am currently working on a hooking project with Shirley, the lady I work with. It is fun to see her be involved in it and I am enjoying learning something "crafty."

Goodbye WInter
It has felt almost like spring here the last few days. I am SO happy. This winter has felt REALLY long. Above are some pictures of Zayne playing with his rice "sandbox" with his little matchbox cars and trucks. It is hard to try and find things to do during the long cold days and especially because both the boys have a pretty short attention span. I much prefer getting outside and walking to the park, or the ducks, or the library. This week has been busy. I spent a few days over at my parents helping out and the boys hung out with daddy. They had lots of fun and I am so thankful to have such a capable, amazing, husband. He does SO well with the boys and they love him so much. Zayne is getting to be more and more a Daddy's little helper.

Dear Kyler
Little boy, today you are one years old. I just came downstairs from giving you some tylenol for your new teeth that are coming in. You didn't have the best birthday today, because we have a stomach bug at our house, but we have plans to have some special times in the next couple weeks. You are a detemined, spirited, and very sensitive little boy. You love to play around the house with your balls and trucks. You are still nursing about twice a day and sleep through the night pretty good now. You eat just about anything and are so fun to feed because meal time is something you enjoy, rather than just tolerate like your brother Zayne. You and Zayne have a lot of fun together and you hold your own very well next to your big brother. Lately, you have started this loud screech when you are frusterated or want something. We are trying to work on it with you, but everytime we tell you not to do it, you get this sad look on your face and start crying like we hurt your feelings. You are almost excusively walking and are really starting to understand what we are saying and what it going on. You can say lots of fun sounds and even a few words here and there.
I remember how happy I was last year when you finally arrived. I was so excited to meet my second son, who quickly cast a love spell over me. You melted my heart the first time I saw you and it still melts each time I see your sweet face.
Happy 1st Birthday Kyler James
This little boy is officially a one year old. The little puppy is one of his birthday gifts - he thinks it is pretty great. I guess it is good he won't really remember his 1st birthday though. Today consisted of a LOT of diareah, one throw up, quite a bit of crying, and a very tired mommy. Kyler is feeling better, but Zayne has the stomach bug pretty bad right now. We are surviving, but seriously I am OVER the winter and all the bugs that come with it.

Breakfast Buddies
The boys both have a stomach bug, so neither of them have been sitting in their highchairs the last few days, But on a normal morning this is where you would find them. They love having their breakfast together and often will swap food on their trays. We normally have a bananna to start with, followed by oatmeal. They are so cute. I hope they can get better soon, I miss our breakfast routines!

Happy 50th Safta!!!
My Mom's 50th Birthday was on Tuesday!!! She seriously looks young enough to be these guys mom, and even more than that has stayed young at heart She amazes me everyday with the way she takes on each day with a passion. She has taught me more than any other person in this world and is my hero and role model. I love everything about her and am so BLESSED to be her daughter! We got to spend last weekend together, celebrating just the two of us with a trip to GR. It was preluded with a suprise b-day party at the Olive Garden. What fun memories. Thanks for being the best mom in the World!!! - I love you Mom - Happy Birthday.
All in a Day
Here are just some random shots around our life. Having a 2 and 1 year old sure make our days fun, loud, busy, special, exhuasting, and amazing. We are still working on Potty training, once in a while we have a good day :). Kyler is getting better and better at walking and has also picked up Zayne's schreech when he wants something. We have all felt a little under the weather this week and we are all pretty much over the white stuff that seems to keep coming this winter. It has been fun, but I am ready for some warm park days.
I have been so overwhelmed this week by all of my blessings. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband, our healthy boys, amazing family, special friends, and the way God just keeps taking care of each of our needs. I am really, truly, blessed!!!
