This is a picture of me and the boys at Publix Grocery store. We normally shop at Walmart just for price, but I have to admit that Publix is a much nicer shopping experience. The boys LOVE these car carts. They each have a steering wheel that they can pretend to drive all around the store. They also give out free cookies that are actually tasty and will hep you take your groceries to your car. Anyway, I wish I could have the Walmart prices with the Publix experience. I have to confess, sometimes I go into Publix just for the cart and cookies and walk out without buying hardly anything.
We have had a really nice Saturday. We spent the morning just working around the house and enjoying our pool and then headed out after naps for a walk with Micah's parents. Then we got pizza and headed back to our house for a relaxing evening.
Last night we had our first "Movie Night" with Zayne. He was SO cute and SO excited to be able to stay up late and have brownies and watch a movie with Mommy and Daddy.
Kyler came up to me yesterday and said "Dnce Mama". He wanted me to put music on and pick him up and Dance with him. Ahhh Love!

Some things don't change
I love that there are some things in our life that haven't changed. Even with moving and all the changes, the boys have added such a sense of being "home" whevever we are. The important things in our life right now include building trains, taking good naps, enjoying snacks and treasuring the daily little laughs and smiles. We have had a good week - Micah started his new job and is enjoying his training. We tried out a little gymnastics class for Zayne and he loved it. Kyler is really understanding and communicating more, he is really a sharp little guy. He hasn't gotten any less naughty but he sure is cute. His hair is getting almost white and he is growing taller by the day.
Today, we had a playdate with Mia, tomorrow we have library day and a swimming date with some friends. We are trying to stay busy as Micah is going to get busier and we will miss having Daddy around so much.

Saturday Recap
Too tired to really blog. Micah starts his new job on Monday - Yay! Praise the Lord. It will be an adjustment not having him around as much. We are trying to pack in family fun and quality time this weekend. Had a nice Saturday - Micah and his Dad went out for breakfast, Zayne got to spend some special time with Gramma, and Kyler and I puttered around the house. We worked on our yard some more this afternoon and went for a family swim. This picture was from a hike we took last Sunday. My little boys are growing up SO fast.

New Bikes and Shades
We were planning to get Zayne a new bike for his 3rd Birthday, but some awesome friends just gave us one that their boy had hardly ever used (Thanks Nixon's). Zayne Loves it! He is so athletic and really does well with peddeling. His favorite thing to do though, is drive it into the grass and fall over. I think he does it because he is trying to copy the guys on the Mt. Bike video's that Micah and him watch together. Speaking of Mt. Bikes - ours got stolen from our garage last week. We really couldn't believe it, we always keep our door shut at night and when we are away so it must have happened some afternoon when we were home or early evening during dinner. Micah's mt. bike is like his soulmate, next to me of course, so we are both really depressed and angry about it. I hate when people think they just have the right to take things that are not theirs. We live in a really quite neighborhood with mostly older people so we think it was probably just some creeps driving or walking by that came in and drove off with them. Seriously a major bummer. I think it is extra frusterating because we are just starting to feel settled again and working to get back on our feet. This was like a kick when we are already a little down.
Some good news though, Micah has a couple different job offers on the table. We are still praying and working through the pluses and minuses to them and hoping that maybe he gets a few more. We will know more in the next couple days. It will be nice to have some steady income coming in and Micah will do great with whatever he decides to do.
Last week also brought some fun times - a beach day with the Nystrom's, swimming with Mia, and a playdate with Joseph. We also found a library story time at a small library in Debary that we all LOVED. SCORE - Can't wait for this Wednesday!
This weekend we went back to church number 3. We liked it again, other than I spend all my time in the nursery because Kyler is going through some seriouse Mommy attachments. After church we went for a little hike on Hontoon Island. We got to take a ferry across and had fun playing at the park and going for a little hike. Micah even found a rattle snake in a log and got to point it out to Zayne. He has also been killing a lot of black widows around our house. Ah - the joys of FL life.

An evening to remember
Right before we moved from MI, the sweet couple that I worked for took Micah and I out to the English Inn. It was a beautiful evening, with the spring greens especially vibrant. We had such a special time enjoying a gourmet meal with them and lovely conversation. George and Shirley became part of my heart and part of our family. I think about them so often and have felt a huge hole in leaving them behind.
Missing you...
Zayne was asking for Safta today. He wanted to go back to the bouncy place we went with her and this time bring Na Na. Just wanted you to know...

Birthday Party and Firetrucks!
Happy 4th of July. We have had a good week and are feeling more and more settled. We are feeling encouraged with how things are coming together and although the days still seem a bit long and we are very lonely for everyone we said goodbye to in MI we feel like this is becoming our "new normal." Zayne hasn't been asking for the "other home" as often and seems to be feeling more settled as well. We had a really fun weekend. It started with a Saturday morning birthday party for Zayne's little friend Ryder. It is actually the son of Micah's good mt. Biking buddy, but we are looking forward to getting the boys together to play soon. They invited us to his 3rd birthday party and it was a blast. It started with a pool and pizza and ended with a fire truck coming to the house. Wow - what a fun experience. Zayne was just in awe the whole time. Kyler actually really liked it as well, except when I tried to put him IN the truck. As you can see he didn't like that so much.
