Happy Thanksgiving

We spent a wonderful, relaxing, and suprising day over at my parents. The suprise came in the form of Pop and Nan, who spontaneously made the 3 day trip to be back for the holiday. None of us had any idea and I just balled when I saw their sweet faces pop around the door. What a special day! We had a wonderful thanksgiving meal, filled with every delicious food you could think of. I think it was one of the best tasting thanksgiving meals I have ever had. We spent the day visiting, sipping coffee, going for a walk in the woods and filling our already full tummys. The boys both took long naps at my parents and were little angels the whole day.
Today, some of us got up and braved a few of the stores. We didn't go super early and I was actually suprised by how smooth everything went. My amazing Aunt Rae watched the boys so I could have my hands free to shop- and SHOP I did. It was SO FUN!!! I got some really good deals and a huge start on Christmas.
We passed out tons of coupons and flyers for the business, so hopefully business will pick up a bit more. We also are opening on Sunday's starting this week. We are still enjoying the challenge of growing a new business, but somedays we feel like we are pushing a stuck train uphill.
Thankful for my many, many blessings!

OHIO

B, getting a ride with J and K and I hiking. I am carrying Kyler in a wrap, Not Pregnant :).

B and Zayne playing with rocks. They really did have fun together - they just both really like the same toys, at the same time.
Two weeks ago, we ventured South to a little town in Ohio to visit some close friends. We had so much fun hanging out, letting our boys fight over, I mean play with toys, making homeade pretzles, playing apple's to apple's, sharing our hearts and thoughts, worshiping together at church, eating special lunches out, hiking a nature trail, having craft time and visiting Grandpa's Cheese Barn. It was a relaxing and refreshing time. Last year, they came here to visit us and so this year we went there. I think we are going to have to make it an annual fall tradition. Looking forward to seeing them again in May!!! We love you guys. Thanks for a fun Weekend K,B,J and Ann!

Catch up

Well our computer crashed a couple weeks ago. We have sinced purchased a new one and we are working on getting everything moved over and organized. I have a ton a pictures to post, but at the moment can't find them on our computer. But, I still wanted to update the blog about the last few weeks. We have all been doing well. Kyler has decided that all of Zayne's toys, specifially the one that Zayne is playing with, is the one he wants too. That has caused some interesting moments and we are working on teaching everyone to share. Zayne has been enjoying his new train set that we got from a good friend. He is also really into building forts, having "yayas" (snacks), and watching his truck video.
Last Thursday we went to Zayne's little preschool for a family feast. They provided a whole Thanksgiving meal, helped watch all the kids while we ate and even cleaned up after us.
Yesterday, I helped host a baby shower for a good friend who is having her second set of twins. Her first set is Zayne's age, so whenever I think I am overwhelmed, I think about her and I feel like I have it pretty easy. Micah watched the boys and I came home to a spotless house and two sleeping boys! He is amazing, he even cleaned the bathroom.
We are gearing up for the holidays and looking forward to spending time with family, remembering WHO to thank for our blessings, and eating lots of yummy food!

Random Thoughts

I am really to tired to blog tonight, but I feel guilty reading other people's blogs and not putting anything on mine. So, I will try and write about some of my very tired thoughts. Today, I found Kyler screaching in the kitchen because he had pulled himself up next to Zayne's highchair, and in his stocking feet, he slid into the middle splits. I felt bad because I found it hilarious. The picture above is Zayne asleep behind the changing table during one of his naps - he obviously didn't stay in his bed. Zayne talks about big trucks, firetrucks, ambulances, police cars, and trains almost ALL day. He also likes to include Kyler's name in almost all of his sentences. He still has his own little launguage where the words and sounds are all mixed together - for example big truck is big ggguuuu. I am looking forward to a day at home tomorrow.
