Weekend Company
Well, our company last weekend was a smashing success. We really enjoyed seeing our special friend "K," loving on her son "B," and meeting their special guy "J". I am not even going to admit where most of these pictures are taken, but lets just say the donuts and cider were STILL amazing :). It was a really encouraging and uplifiting visit. "K" has been a special friend to us for awhile and it is so fun to watch God work in her life and bless her. Zayne and "B" loved playing together and were so cute "sharing" the trucks and toys.
Here is a pictures of Zayne jumping off the haymound into Micah's arms. He loved it! I thought it was such a neat picture of perfect trust! The kind that every child should have with their father, but also the kind that we KNOW we can have with our Heavenly Father. HE will catch us every time.
Happy Sunday!

15 Months!
Zayne is 15 Months now and seriously the light of our life. I loved this picture because it showed Zayne in his element - pacifier, ball, slide, and truck in the background all included. He had a Dr. Appt today and here are his stats:
Weight - 19lb 8oz (we were really hoping for 20lbs, but maybe next time) = 3%
Height - 31" = 50%
So, he is just a tall, thin little boy with LOTS of energy. The Dr. said it really is about his metabolism and how much he is moving. She was pleased with his growth curve and just said he is setting his own.
He also had to get 3 shots - OUCH! But he did great and just cried during the process and then was fine. The next appointment we have will be with 2 of them - AAHHHHH!!!!

A day at the park
Last Sunday we took off, out of town and went to Cascade Falls Park in Jackson MI. It sounds a lot more amazing than what it is - trust me, but we had such a special day. There was something about just being outside, hanging out as a family that was so relaxing and refreshing. We have very few days like this these days - so we treasure the ones we get!
This weekend we are having company. Looking forward to hanging out with some good friends - we might even have another excuse for the Apple Cider Mill :).

26 Weeks
Some belly shots - 26 weeks. This little guy is really getting active. I am feeling good though and at my last appointment everything was looking good. The fluid in his kidneys is gone and now they are just a little concerned about his size. I am measuring a little small. Fine by me - I like my little 6lb babies. I can't believe it is just a few months away now. With the holidays and everything coming up, the time is sure to keep flying by.
An Evening Out

Last Monday, Noveber 2, 2009, Micah and I got to go to the Transciberian Orchestra. It was part of Micah's birthday gift this year. He has been wanting to go for years now, and when I found some super cheap tickets (yes, it was the nose bleed section), I decided to suprise him. It was a really special evening. Micah thanked me probably 50 times and we both really enjoyed the concert! We got a babysitter for Zayne and were gone the WHOLE evening.

Trick or Treat

This holloween, Zayne was a little bumblebee. It is actually the same costume that my brother Nate wore when he was Zayne's age. The pictures above are of Nate's School Party. He loved showing off his little nephew and I am pretty sure Zayne liked all the attention he got. Micah had to work on the night of Holloween, so Zayne and I went to my parents house and went to a few houses just to show off the costume and of course get some goodies for Micah and me :). It was a fun evening of hanging out with family. My aunt and uncle and a few of my cousins came and some good friends of our family. We had soup, bread, and oreo's for desert! Uncle Nate
Here are some pictures of Zayne and his Uncle Nate. Nate LOVES being an uncle and is so good with Zayne. The two of them have so much fun together. Zayne gets so excited every time Nate's name is even mentioned. This past weekend, Nate got to spend the weekend with us. We had lots of fun. Zayne showed him all his toys around the house, we watched movies and read together, and just enjoyed hanging out. Nate is growing up to be such a mature, kind, and strong guy. Thanks for the fun weekend little bro!
