Cool Dude

Just a few shots of our silly, fun, and Cool Kyler James!
We have had a good week - Bike rides at the blue park, pumpkin patches, library story times with puppet shows and snacks at the library cafe afterward, playdates with Mia at her fitness center where we got to swim in a warm pool for 2 hrs, family hikes in the evenings enjoying the cooler weather, trying out a new mt. bike trail, getting the windows washed and the carpets cleaned.  Next on the list - more of the same, pressure washing the pool deck, getting ready for Safta to come in a few weeks, and trying to keep up with two boys that literally jump from the counters and bounce off the walls!

October Update

The cooler weather is finally coming - well not really "cooler" but less humid so that makes it feel almost like fall or maybe spring - Florida is just weird with its seasons.  I think after living up north for the past few years, I notice the lack of season's even more.  We are enjoying our fall schedule - Bible Study Fellowship on Monday's and Tuesdays, Hikes, Parks, and maybe a Library Story time on Wednesday, Play dates on Thursday morning and School for Zayne with Gramma and Grampa on Thurs Afternoon, and Gymnastics on Fridays.  We like to stay busy, but it also seems like we have lots of time during the day to just enjoy the little things.  We all still love to swing in the orange swing, play in the sandbox, and even jump in the pool (although we are spending less and less time in there as it is cold!)  Yesterday, we washed the truck in the drive way - the boys are GREAT helpers!  They have fun watching Caillou before nap and going for walks in the afternoon.  They are both really good on their bikes.  Kyler LOVES his tricycle and Zayne can now ride his bike with NO training wheels. Zayne also doesn't wear a pull up at night anymore and yesterday when I told him he wasn't an adult yet, we had a full meltdown - he is really into being a BIG Boy - no little babies in our house anymore.  Kyler doesn't want to be my baby anymore either - although after he gets hurt or is really sleepy he says he will be "just for a minute."   Loving our sweet days together!  I think this weekend Micah is going to take the boys camping.  Should be lots of FUN!!!
