Happy Easter!

but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body. Mark 16: 6

Ice Cream Trip

Not a lot of words necessary. Both the boys love ice cream as much as I do. This was a fun outing one evening while Mom and Dad P. were in town.

Lefty

We are pretty sure this little guy is left handed. We have been "testing" him the past week or so and all answers lead to leftiness. What a fun and unique quality in our little guy.

Little Munchkins

New things: Zayne no longer needs his pacifier or blanket in the car. We now only have them when it is time for bed or naps! Zayne also went poo poo in the potty this morning - a big milestone for him. Kyler sleeps all the way through the night and we are completly done nursing. Zayne still likes to come and snuggle around 6am, which both Micah and I love (as long as he goes back to sleep and doesn't fidget to much). Kyler can say car, truck, dog, coffee, nigh night, mama, dadada, this and that. Gramma and Grampa were here all last week and we loved every minute! They are headed up to CAN for the weekend and then will be back again for a few days before headed back to FL. Things are starting to become clearer when we think about our summer/future plans. WE are trusting God day by day to work out the details.

This and That

It snowed today. I wish it was an Aprils fools joke but it's not. We have some wonderful company here this week - Gramma and Grampa Plimpton arrived yesterday evening. As always, it is SO special to have them here and we are treasuring every moment. Zayne is doing really well with Potty training and we have had a good week working on it. I have backed off and just tried to not make a big deal out of it. He suddenly got really interested in going Potty by himself and now will go without much prompting. We are anticipating some changes coming this summer, no not the pregnant kind, more of the moving kind. We are not sure how everything is going to pan out, but we are trusting God each day to work out the details and are excited about the future. Micah and I are so thankful to have each other and be able to go through life as a team. I tell him all the time I am just happy to "do life" with you, whatever that may look like. Above our some pictures of some of what our evenings look like these days.
