Wow, I can't believe that Jan is almost over. We have had a really good, productive month. We cleaned out some closets and did some extra cleaning after Christmas. Micah steam cleaned our carpets and inspected our house for anything that crawls. We got filing organized and some decorating done. It feels good to clean out and get rid of things when there are new things to make room for.
We had a couple weeks of "normal" after the holidays, and then we get on plane, and me and the boys flew to MI to spend the week with Saba and Safta, Na Na, and U. Micah, and U. Siah. It worked out that I was able to spend some time with George and Shirley, the couple I did caregiving for when we lived in MI. I spent my morning there helping out, while Safta got to have "Safta time" with the boys. They had so much fun every day - Bouncy houses, movies, chucky cheese. We got home yesterday evening and were so happy to see Micah and be back in our own beds. The boys were happy to be back in their sandbox and be able to play outside with no shoes on, but Zayne really missed Safta and wanted to go back to the "other home" and chucky cheese.
This next week we are looking forward to settling back into our routines, putting our Xterra up for sale and doing taxes!
