Taking time to smell the flowers
Sometimes, it seems like life just rushes forward and there is nothing you can do to slow it down. Zayne is almost one and thinking back on the last year with all the changes we have had, I am so thankful for all of the sweet memories we have as a family. Even with the craziness of having a new baby, our whole life changing, moving states, starting a new business, and a new job - I feel like we have done a pretty good job of taking time to still enjoy the little moments.
We said goodbye to my brother Luke this week as he heads off to Moody Bible College. We are so proud of him and the man that he is. He is such a light in everybody's life, always helpful, kind, and caring. Zayne pretty much thinks the world of him and we are really going to miss his "babysitter association of america" services. I am so excited to watch as God's leads him in these next few years.
In more Zayne news, he is walking like a pro now. His favorite things are still trucks and balls. He makes the best little boy truck noises, loves to read stores, go on stroller rides, and watch baby Einstein. He is also starting to enjoy "chase." In a couple weeks we leave for a little vacation to FL. We are looking forward to seeing old friends and watching Micah's parents dote on Zayne.
All for now...
