When we were in MI we took a trip to Holland to see my best friend Kristin. It was so fun to see their new place and they fixed us some awesome chili. Above are some pictures of our time. Today we had a relaxing day of church and then Panera Bread with Micah's parents - sort of a family tradition. Then Zayne and I took long naps this afternoon and daddy went Mt. Biking.
Tomorrow we are heading to NC for one more quick vacation before I head back to work. We are also pursuing a business opportunity with my parents and are going up for a meeting, so it will serve dual purposes. This will be Zayne's first long car trip. Feel free to offer any advice.
Zayne is growing like a little weed. He still seems to enjoy his own bed and familiar surroundings and gets a little anxious if we are out too long. He has been gooing and smiling at us for about 2 weeks now. He is especially happy after he eats! So cute. We just love him so much.

comparing your first born to a weed?! really kara, come on! :) Just kidding. i miss you so much and hate that i haven't been able to see you & micah since june and haven't been able to see zayne AT ALL!!!! you better be going to michigan at christmas!!!!!!!!!!!
