Back Home Again

We made it back from our trip to NC. Zayne was a trooper and did great on the long drives. It was a beautiful time of year to be in the Mountains with all the leaves changing. After our business meeting in Raleigh, NC, which went really well and may have some exciting possibilities, we headed west near Ashville and stayed in a cute, one bedroom cabin with a loft. We took some fun hikes and just enjoyed hanging out in the warm cabin. Zayne loved napping by the fireplace. It was a really fun family getaway and gave us some good time to just talk, pray, and be together.

Zayne did really well through all his shots last Monday. We gave him some infant tylenol, which he loved - so funny, and he was fine after a few days. He is definetly starting to become more active. He waves his arms and kicks his feet all the time and will smile and goo when you talk to him. He seems to really know who his Mommy and Daddy are and is the happiest when we are close by. The other day Micah's mom was giving him a bottle and I was sitting next to her. He stared at me the entire feeding. It was like he couldn't figure out why he was getting milk, but I was way over there. It was so adorable. Well we are off to church today - hopefully, if I can get my boys out of bed. Then we are meeting some friends for lunch. It should be a fun, relaxing day.
Love,
~KARA
