FL Memories

This day we went to a park called Gemini Springs. It was a special park to Micah and I when we lived there, and we spent many days walking along the scenic paths or going for a run along the paved trails. The boys loved the wide open space and we had a relaxing time playing at the park and having some of Grandpa's muffins for a snack in the field. They were the "BEST" muffins ever :). The grass was very brown from all the cold weather, but it sure made for some cool pictures.
While we were there we say a little boy in wheelchair who was about 4. It was clear he had a loving caring family around him. They were pushing him through the grass when the wheel caught in a small hole and tipped over. The little guy was fine, and thought the incident was funny, but you could tell it really shook his parents. His mom just held him in her arms and rocked him. Tears filled my eyes as I watched them. I approached her after awhile and just shared a little about my brother's situation. I told her somthing similar had happened to my mom a few days ago and that she wasn't alone in her hurt and pain. This life is full of deep sorrow and pain. I am so thankful that there is a God who is with us through all of it AND that we can have a hope for a life without the tears!

Revelation 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
