We had a fun and productive week. It started out with a playdate with Maddie and Luke N. on Tuesday. They are twins that are 5 days older than Zayne. Julie (their mom) and I had so much fun hanging out and talking about our sweet babies. We had lunch together while all the babies watch Baby Einstein. It is SO cute to see them look and smile and interact with one another. Zayne seems especially curious about Maddie. Probably because she wears pink and is awefully cute!
On Friday Josiah and his girlfriend Gina came over and we all took Zayne on a hike. The weather has turned nice again and it feels so wonderful to be able to get outside. Josiah was adorable carrying Zayne in his little pack. These two are really bonding, although Zayne still isn't sure about giving Josiah kisses. However, he didn't have any hesitation about giving them out to Gina. Josiah had better watch out, Zayne was putting on the charm :) Not that I blame him, Gina is very beautiful and very sweet. She even bought us subs for dinner!
Today - Saturday, we walked in the Grand Ledge St. Patricks Day Parade. Rudino's was on of the sponsors for the event and we got to walk with a huge banner and pass out coupons and candy. There were probably 5000+ people there so it was a great way to get our name out there and do some marketing. My amazing Aunt and Uncle, Rich and Rae and my cousin Suzie, came to help. Nate and U. Rich held the banner and A. Rae and I pushed the strollers and handed out the flyers and helped Suzie hand out the candy. The day was a huge success and I am so glad we did it. Below is Nate decked out in his St. Patrick Day Garb - He was a HUGE help all day and is getting so big.
Well, I am exhusted and headed to bed. Tomorrow is Sunday - YIPEE!!!
